About us
Stitch Happens MCR is a designer garment restoration, alteration, repair and resale business based in Manchester, United Kingdom. By using our website or services, you agree to these terms.
Service bookings
All service work is subject to inspection on receipt. We reserve the right to revise a quote (with your approval) if hidden damage or fabric incompatibility is discovered. You may cancel before work commences for a full refund of any deposit. Once work has started, deposits become non-refundable but are credited against the final invoice.
We aim to complete work within the timeline quoted but cannot guarantee specific dates. We are not liable for consequential losses arising from delay (e.g. missed events).
Limitation of liability
Our maximum liability for loss or damage to any garment is its current market value, capped at £5,000 unless a higher value has been agreed and insured in writing prior to receipt. We strongly recommend customers post items with appropriate cover (e.g. Royal Mail Special Delivery).
Retail sales
All retail items are pre-owned unless explicitly marked otherwise. Condition is graded honestly and shown on each product listing. Authenticity is guaranteed — see our Refund Policy for details.
Payments
All payments are processed through secure third-party providers (Stripe, including Klarna where available). We do not store card details. Prices are in GBP.
Loyalty programme
Points have no cash value and are non-transferable. We reserve the right to adjust the points programme with reasonable notice.

Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
